The wired PIR motion sensor is designed to detect human movement and work with alarm system control panels. Once movement is detected, the sensor relays a signal by wire to the alarm control panel, which, depending on the system's configuration, can trigger the alarm and notifications.

The sensor offers 3 adjustable sensitivity levels, a choice of NC or NO mode, and automatic temperature compensation. A wide 110° detection angle and range of up to 12 metres let it effectively secure the chosen room.

👤 Effective motion detection

The sensor uses PIR (Passive Infrared) technology to detect human movement in the protected area.

With a range of up to 12 m and a detection angle of 110°, the device can monitor a large part of a room.

Once movement is detected, the signal is relayed by wire to the alarm control panel. The further response, such as triggering the siren, sending an SMS or making a call, depends on the functions and configuration of the connected control panel.

🎯 3 adjustable sensitivity levels

The ability to choose one of 3 sensitivity levels lets you match the sensor's operation to the conditions in a specific room.

Automatic temperature compensation is also included, supporting correct detector operation as conditions change.

🔄 NC / NO mode

The sensor can operate in two common modes used in wired alarm installations:

• NC - Normally Closed
• NO - Normally Open

The appropriate mode is selected using a jumper, making it easy to match the sensor to your alarm control panel.

🛡️ TAMPER line support

The device has a TAMPER port allowing a tamper line to be connected. This lets you extend the alarm installation with protection against unauthorised interference with the sensor, if the control panel supports this function.

🔧 Mounting the sensor

Connect the sensor to the alarm control panel using a suitable multi-core cable, then mount it on the wall.

The recommended mounting height is 1.2 to 3.5 metres. The set includes a bracket for correctly positioning the device.
