This remote is paired by copying it from another remote.
You'll therefore need another working remote already paired with the alarm control panel, so you can copy the button codes onto the newly bought remote.

The flip cover protects against accidentally pressing the buttons.
The keyring attachment lets you clip the remote to your house keys.
Unscrewing 2 small screws makes it easy to replace the battery.
