The LINBOX MS932C is a professional 9/32 cascadable multiswitch designed for extended shared RTV/SAT installations. The device lets you distribute the signal from two satellite positions plus a terrestrial TV antenna to as many as 32 independent subscriber points.

The MS932C model has 8 SAT inputs - four paths for each satellite - plus 1 terrestrial signal input. Its cascadable design lets you further expand the installation by linking additional compatible multiswitches.

32 independent subscriber outputs

The biggest advantage of the LINBOX MS932C is its ability to serve as many as 32 independent subscriber lines. This lets you use a single multiswitch in large installations spanning many flats, rooms or receiving points.

Each subscriber output can be run with a separate coaxial cable to the corresponding RTV/SAT outlet or receiver. This means individual users can independently access the available satellite signals.

Supports two satellites

The multiswitch has 8 satellite inputs split into two sets - SAT A and SAT B. Each satellite position uses four signal paths:

• Low Band - Vertical (VL),
• Low Band - Horizontal (HL),
• High Band - Vertical (VH),
• High Band - Horizontal (HH).

This lets you build an installation giving access to channels from two different orbital positions, for example the popular Hot Bird + Astra combination.

Terrestrial TV input

The ninth input is for the terrestrial TV signal. It lets you feed the antenna signal into the multiswitch installation, so the RTV and SAT signal can be distributed over a shared coaxial cable network.

Cascadable version - installation can be expanded

The MS932C is a cascadable multiswitch. Unlike a Stand Alone terminal version, this device has a way to pass signal paths on to the next element of the installation.

This lets you build larger RTV/SAT systems covering far more than 32 receiving points. This is especially useful in shared installations, where one multiswitch can serve a specific part of a building, with the signal then passed on to further devices.

Works with QUATTRO converters

In an installation using two satellites, the multiswitch works with two QUATTRO converters. Each converter delivers four fixed band-and-polarity combinations, which need to be connected to the correspondingly labelled inputs on the device.

Note: a QUATTRO converter is not the same device as a QUAD converter. A classic multiswitch installation requires properly routed VL, HL, VH and HH paths.
