The LINBOX MS532E is a 5/32 Stand Alone-type terminal multiswitch, designed for extended RTV/SAT installations. It lets you distribute the signal from one satellite position plus a terrestrial TV antenna to as many as 32 independent subscriber outputs.

The device has 4 SAT inputs designed to work with a QUATTRO converter, plus 1 ANT input for the terrestrial TV signal. Its large number of outputs makes the MS532E a good fit for larger houses, guesthouses, hotels, offices and shared antenna installations.

As many as 32 subscriber outputs

The biggest advantage of the MS532E model is its ability to distribute signal to as many as 32 independent subscriber lines. This lets you build an extended RTV/SAT installation without needing several smaller multiswitches.

Each output can be run with a coaxial cable to the corresponding RTV/SAT outlet or receiver. Individual users can use the installation independently of each other.

Supports one satellite position

The LINBOX MS532E has four satellite signal inputs corresponding to the four paths delivered by a QUATTRO converter:

• VL - low band / vertical polarity,
• HL - low band / horizontal polarity,
• VH - high band / vertical polarity,
• HH - high band / horizontal polarity.

This lets the multiswitch make the right band and polarity available independently to each receiver connected to the installation.

Works with a QUATTRO converter

For a correctly built standard SAT installation, the MS532E works with a QUATTRO-type converter. Connect the converter's four outputs to the corresponding inputs on the multiswitch.

Note: don't confuse a QUATTRO converter with a QUAD converter. A QUATTRO converter has four outputs with a fixed band and polarity assignment and is designed for use with multiswitches.

DVB-T/T2 terrestrial TV

Besides its four SAT inputs, this device is fitted with an ANT input. This lets you feed a terrestrial TV antenna signal into the installation.

This means a single coaxial installation can distribute both satellite and DVB-T/T2 terrestrial TV to many receiving points.

Stand Alone version - MS532E

The MS532E model is a Stand Alone terminal version. It's designed to work as the final element of an installation and has no function for passing the bus on to a further multiswitch.

For installations requiring a cascaded setup, the equivalent model is the MS532C. The model offered here is the MS532E - Stand Alone.
