5-Input 24-Output Multiswitch Linbox 5x24 Cascade

5-INPUT 24-OUTPUT CASCADE MULTISWITCH LINBOX SATELLITE

A wide selection of branded satellite multiswitches.

LINBOX Multiswitch 5/24 for 1 Satellite with Passive Terrestrial TV Path

Cascade version for connecting an additional multiswitch in a cascade chain.

Recommended for installations of up to 24 tuners from 1 satellite, e.g. Hotbird

Key features:

• Inputs: 1x4 from a Quattro converter, 1 terrestrial DVB-T,
• Outputs: 24 to SAT tuners,
• Outputs: 1x4 from SAT, 1 terrestrial DVB-T,
• Passive FM/DVB-T path
• Input frequency range: for satellite LNB inputs: 950 - 2150 MHz,
• Input frequency range: for the terrestrial DVB-T antenna input: 47 - 862 MHz,
• Frequency range for outputs to end sockets: 47-2150 MHz,
• Attenuation in the SAT band (950-2150 MHz): -6 dB, attenuation in the TER band (47-862 MHz): -4 dB,
• Output signal level: RTV approx. 85 dBuV; SAT approx. 100 dBuV, isolation between outputs approx. 25-30 dB,
• Power supply: 18V 3A DC from an external 90-240V(AC), 40-60Hz power adapter,
• The multiswitch works with Quattro-type converters and terrestrial TV antennas,
• The multiswitch automatically detects the type of signal (band, polarisation) to be delivered to each tuner,
• The device is designed for indoor use (attic, hallway, basement, etc.), operating temperature from 0 to +55°C

Branded multiswitches. Single-satellite series. From 4 to 32 outputs.

Power adapter

The set includes a 20V 1.2A power adapter with an F-type connector. A lit LED on the power adapter indicates that the multiswitch is being powered correctly.

The multiswitch has 5 inputs and 24 outputs.

The top of the multiswitch has 5 inputs for connecting the signal from 1 satellite and from a terrestrial antenna. The four inputs for connecting the Quattro converter are marked Vert/Lo, Horz/Lo, Vert/Hi, Horz/Hi respectively, and must be connected to the identically marked outputs on the converter. The middle input, marked ANT, is used to connect the signal from the terrestrial antenna. The cascade version has 4 SAT outputs and 1 DVB-T output for connecting an additional multiswitch.

Indicating correct operation of the multiswitch.

There is an LED at the power adapter input; when lit, it indicates that the multiswitch is being powered correctly.

There are also LEDs at each output for connecting a tuner. If the LED is lit, it means a tuner is connected to that output and is switched on.

The multiswitch and power adapter are fitted with power status LEDs. Under correct operation, both should be lit.

If, after connecting the terrestrial antenna and switching on the power, the LEDs on the power adapter and multiswitch flicker, this indicates a short circuit. Switch off the power immediately and remove the cause.

Multiswitch outputs.

On the left and right sides, the multiswitch has 24 outputs for connecting up to 24 satellite or terrestrial tuners. If a receiver has a recording function, you need to connect 2 cables from the multiswitch to it. In that case, you can connect up to a maximum of 12 such receivers.

Everything comes packed in a blue box.

The set includes:

• Multiswitch 5/24, cascade version
• 20V 1.2A power adapter
