Professional Coaxial Cable PCC80 HD
The PCC80 cable is built to the highest quality standard and offers excellent parameters. The thick copper core ensures the best possible signal flow. A sturdy braid made of 64 strands, 0.12mm thick, effectively shields the signal from unwanted interference from the surroundings.
LTE, 4K, HD
- Ideal for receiving channels in 4K and FULL HD quality
- Resistant to LTE phone network interference

When choosing a cable, make sure to pay attention to its quality. Cheap cables are usually not suitable for outdoor use, they crack quickly and lose their properties, and they also have very thin shielding, which can let signals above 790MHz into the cable and cause reception interference. This problem is getting worse month by month because of the LTE network. Right now, a TV reception problem may be caused by your smartphone using mobile data lying too close to the antenna or cable.
Do it yourself (how to fit an F-connector on an antenna cable)
- Fitting this connector requires a sharp knife, cable cutters and nimble fingers. First, cut off the end of the cable if it's dirty or frayed. The cut itself should be made perpendicular to the cable's axis, not at an angle.
- Remove the outer jacket from the end of the antenna cable over a distance of about 10mm, a little more is fine. Do this by gently scoring around it and then pulling it off with your fingers. The braid should be disturbed as little as possible, so be careful not to cut the delicate wires in the process.
- The next step is to fold the braid back over the outer jacket. Sometimes there's another layer of aluminium foil underneath it, which can also be folded back along with it. Make sure to gather all the braid's strands.
- Next, cut away the shield and the dielectric insulating the core. Do this about 2-3mm from where the jacket was folded back. Don't press the knife too hard so you don't cut the core, the inner insulation is usually fairly soft. Fit the metal F-connector onto the end of the cable prepared this way.
- The last step is to screw the F-connector onto the cable. First push it on, then screw it on firmly. With a properly prepared cable end, the connector should go on deep enough that a small piece of dielectric (about 1mm) pokes through the hole in the connector. The core should stick out straight, not at an angle, and shouldn't touch the shield or braid. The thread inside the connector provides electrical contact between the braid and the connector.
If the core sticks out past the connector by more than 1mm, trim it. If any strands of braid stick out from under the connector, trim those too so they don't cause short circuits. Done!
