You can make crispy, healthier potato chips using only a minimal amount of oil, or none at all. Just cut potatoes into pieces, salt them and put them in the fryer. You'll get tasty, low-fat chips.

View through the window

The pull-out basket is fitted with a heat-resistant handle. When removing the food after cooking, hold the door by the handle and avoid touching the metal parts inside, as they are very hot. Use the included mitt to remove the trays.

To let you see the food as it cooks, the basket is fitted with a clear window. Once you see the food is ready, you can switch off the fryer early.

Cleaning the trays

Since little or no oil is used for cooking, once unplugged and cooled, simply wipe the trays with a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid.
