Wireless 433MHz Door Sensor for GSM Alarm

Operation

This sensor is used to detect the opening of doors and windows. Once opened, it sends a signal about the event to the alarm control panel. If the control panel is armed, it will sound the siren and call and text you with information about the triggered sensor.

The sensor has a low battery alert system.

Application

The sensor consists of 2 parts mounted close together using double-sided tape on a window or door. If the distance between the parts exceeds a few millimetres, the sensor sends a signal about the event to the alarm control panel.

This is why one part is usually mounted on the door frame and the other on the door leaf. When the door opens, the parts move apart, sending a signal to the control panel.

Home arm mode.

By installing magnetic sensors on all external doors and windows and setting home arm mode, you can secure your home overnight.

In this mode you can move around the house and triggering motion sensors won't set off the alarm, while opening any external door or window will trigger it.
