The optical smoke detector is a practical device designed to detect the presence of smoke and signal danger with a loud 85 dB alarm and a flashing red LED.

Thanks to its compact design, the detector can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Powered by a 9V battery, it can be installed without running any extra wiring.

🚨 Loud alarm signal

Once a threat is detected, the detector triggers a pulsating audible signal of 85 dB at a distance of 3 metres. The alarm is accompanied by a flashing red LED.

Combining sound and light signalling means the device clearly indicates when smoke is detected.

🔋 Battery power

The detector is powered by a 9V alkaline battery. It doesn't need to be connected to the mains, making installation simple with no extra wiring required.

NOTE: the 9V battery is not included in the set.

🔴 Function check

The device is fitted with a TEST / RESET button that lets you check the detector is working.

During normal operation, the red LED flashes about every 60 seconds, indicating the device is powered.
