Wired Infrared Beam Barrier 100m, GSM Alarm

100-metre wired beam sensor for a 433 MHz GSM alarm.

A signal made of two beams is transmitted between the barriers. Any crossing between the barriers interrupts the beams and triggers the sensor, sending a signal about the event to the alarm control panel. If the control panel is armed, it will sound the siren and call and text you with information about the triggered sensor.

The sensor consists of 2 units (a transmitter and a receiver) mounted facing each other. Both units need power, so a 12V power cable must be run to each. One unit is connected to the control panel via a 2-core cable, which carries the signal if the beams between the transmitter and receiver are broken.

The maximum distance between the transmitter and receiver is 100 metres.

Beam barriers are most often used outdoors to secure things like a property entrance, or windows or doors from the outside.

Home arm mode.

By installing barrier sensors on all external doors and windows and setting home arm mode, you can secure your home overnight.

In this mode you can move around the house and triggering motion sensors won't set off the alarm, while opening any external door or window will trigger it.

Incorrect use

When mounting the barriers, make sure they are correctly and firmly attached to the wall.

Also avoid pointing the barrier towards the sun.
